Kobido is a traditional Japanese facial massage that originated in the 15th century. Its name means “the ancient way of beauty”. Originally practiced by Japanese emperors and the imperial court, it combines elements of massage, acupressure, and lymphatic drainage. Key characteristics of Kobido massage: Techniques: Alternating fast and slow hand movements, tapping, kneading, and delicate lifting strokes. Focus areas: Face, neck, and décolleté, with attention to meridian points and energy flow. Effects: Stimulates blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. Improves skin elasticity and tone. Reduces muscle tension in the face and jaw. Encourages collagen production and natural lifting effect. Provides deep relaxation and stress release. Cancellation Policy
Massage Therapy Policy Statement 1. Arrival Time: We kindly request that clients arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. This allows ample time for check-in, completion of any necessary paperwork, and preparation for the treatment session. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid inconveniencing other clients. 2. Appointment Cancellations: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring clients to reschedule or cancel their appointments. We request that clients provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes to their appointment time. If a client cancels within the 24 hour window, the client will be charged half of the appointment cost. This must be paid prior to scheduling any future appointments. If a client fails to cancel within 24 hours multiple times (2 or more), they may be asked to pre-pay for future services. 3. No show Policy We acknowledge that unexpected situations can arise in life, such as car troubles, work obligations, or family emergencies, which may necessitate the cancellation of a massage appointment. We kindly request that you notify us in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. For clients who repeatedly miss appointments without prior notice, we may ask for pre-payment for future services. 4. Client/Practitioner Expectations: Clients can expect to receive professional and respectful treatment from the skilled practitioner. Practitioner will conduct a thorough consultation before each session to understand the client's needs, preferences, and any health considerations. Clients are encouraged to communicate openly with their practitioner regarding their comfort level, preferences, and any concerns during the treatment session. Practitioner will provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for each client's treatment session. 5. Personal Relationship and Confidentiality: The practitioner adhere to strict professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality regarding all client information and interactions. Any personal information shared by clients during consultations or treatment sessions will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without the client's consent. Practitioner will not engage in personal relationships with clients outside of the professional setting to maintain the integrity of the therapeutic relationship. 5.Financel or reschedule, please contact us 24 hours prior to your appointment
